Pet Talk means speaking to an adult partner in an affectionate, playful pet-directed tone, or enjoying being addressed that way. It can involve warm praise, chosen pet names or a deliberately soft and playful manner of speaking. It does not require age regression, a younger role, animal noises or giving up ordinary speech.
One person may enjoy hearing a partner use a gentle tone or ask a playful question while they are in a pet role. Another may enjoy giving that attention. The appeal can be in the voice, wording or shared context rather than in any particular animal persona.
Pet Talk can accompany petting or praise, but those activities need their own agreement. Commands, degradation and animal vocalizations are separate optional choices. There is no requirement to respond in a particular way.
This is role-play among consenting adults. Agree on language, touch, activities and limits before starting, and keep a clear way to pause or stop. Anyone can speak normally or leave character at any time. Actual animals are never participants. Discuss examples of welcome and unwelcome language before starting. A tone that feels affectionate to one person may feel patronizing to another. Normal speech and requests to pause are always available, regardless of the role.
