Pet Play

Bowl Feeding

Serving or enjoying ordinary food or drink from a bowl as part of consensual adult pet play. It does not require overeating, humiliation or food restriction. Bowl Feeding uses an ordinary food-safe bowl as part of adult roleplay. It is distinct from overeating, food restriction, humiliation and choosing a partner's diet.

What it's like

One partner might serve a normal snack in a bowl and use an agreed pet name. The other might enjoy the presentation or the feeling of being cared for. Feeding, praise, role language and physical help are separate choices.

Safety & consent

This is roleplay among consenting adults. Actual animals are never participants. Anyone can speak normally, pause or stop at any time. Use clean food-safe dishes and familiar food or drink that suits the person's needs. Keep a comfortable position and allow utensils or hands. Stop for discomfort; normal access to food and water remains unconditional. Do not substitute animal food or demand a particular eating technique.

Common misconceptions

Getting started safely

  1. Choose a familiar snack, a clean dish and a comfortable place to sit, then try only the presentation.
  2. Check in afterward and change the agreement if either person wants to.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the same as feederism?

No. Bowl Feeding is about the serving context. Any interest in overeating or weight change is a separate topic and agreement.

How to bring it up

  1. Prompt 1"Would serving an ordinary snack in a bowl feel fun or caring to you?"
  2. Prompt 2"What should remain outside this activity, and how would you like to pause or stop?"
