Pet Play

Pet Walking

Leading or accompanying an adult partner in a pet role on an agreed walk, with or without a leash, in a setting where the roleplay is welcome. Pet Walking describes an agreed walk in an adult pet role. A leash is optional, and walking together does not establish ownership or consent to other activities.

What it's like

Partners might take a short walk together while using chosen role names or wearing agreed accessories. Some prefer to walk without any gear. The shared activity and its meaning are personal, rather than a test of obedience.

Safety & consent

This is roleplay among consenting adults. Actual animals are never participants. Anyone can speak normally, pause or stop at any time. Choose a private or explicitly welcoming setting. Keep bystanders outside the roleplay. Agree on pace, route and a way to pause. Gear must not restrict breathing or mobility; a leash is not for dragging, jerking or supporting someone's weight.

Common misconceptions

Getting started safely

  1. Start with a short route in a comfortable setting and agree on the pace before adding roleplay.
  2. Check in afterward and change the agreement if either person wants to.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a collar or leash?

No. The role and the walk can be enough; equipment is a separate preference.

How to bring it up

  1. Prompt 1"Would you enjoy a private walk together in our pet roles, with or without a leash?"
  2. Prompt 2"What should remain outside this activity, and how would you like to pause or stop?"
